Outdoor Learning

01 June 2017

Our school values learning inside and outside of the classroom. Our Outdoor Learning programme teaches our children how their classroom learning applies to real life. Some of the experiences our children had this year included, a visit to the Canterbury Cathedral to witness the scene of the Thomas Beckett Murder, they travelled to Greenwich to visit the Royal Observatory Greenwich and they enjoyed a field trip to the Science Museum. Throughout the year, the Early Years children attended Forest School sessions at Holland Park Ecology Centre, where they experience nature at its finest.

Outdoor Learning helps our children become more knowledgeable and worldly. The children learn to be critical thinkers while enjoying exciting adventures in a beautiful and historical part of the world.
