Head of Lower School Literacy scores big

Our very own Miss Sophie Le Marchand (Head of Lower School Literacy) has been scoring goals in and outside of the classroom. Outside of work, Miss Sophie plays football and has helped her team Leyton Orient Women’s Football Club get on a path to success. Her latest tallies show her as the top scorer in her league.

"The children and parents at the school know I love football and play a lot. I also think it has been a good thing to share with them from a stereotyping point of view. It helps the children to understand that we can do whatever we want to do, regardless of our sex. Girls can play football and boys can do ballet and that is ok!"

We wish Miss Sophie and the rest of her team the best of luck for the rest of the season!
