Year 3 visit the Science Museum

Year 3 visit the Science Museum

On Wednesday 5th February, Year 3 visited The Science Museum to enhance their learning about Forces topic. The children spent time in the WonderLab where they had a range of experiments to explore such as working out which slide had the most friction and exploring how magnets could affect the flow of water. Year 3 also watched a fantastic ‘Feel The Force’ show where they were shown lots of forces demonstrations and some of the children even had a chance to go and help on stage. During the show they learnt about friction, air resistance, gravity, up thrust and magnetism. Overall, the children had an exciting day where they had a chance to put lots of the topics they had been learning in the classroom into practice.
