UK Bebras Challenge 2019

UK Bebras Challenge 2019

Problem solving and computer science has been an exciting theme for our pupils this term, and last week, many of our pupils in Year 2 to Year 8 took part in an online Bebras Computational Thinking Challenge.

The UK Bebras Computational Thinking Challenge, is designed to get students excited about Computing and Computational Thinking. It is a problem-solving contest with questions inspired by topics in computer science. In the first round, held in their own schools, students have to try and solve as many problems as possible in the allotted time. There are six age categories. The highest scoring students from the oldest age groups (Elite, seniors and Intermediate,) are then invited to participate in the online Oxford Computing Challenge in early March.

Congratulations to Angela, Saladin, Ates, James and Emre. By achieving a top 10% Bebras score in your age group nationally, you are invited to take part in the online Oxford Computing Challenge in March 2020.

Congratulations to the rest of the children who took part in this challenge!
