We held our school Sports Day on Monday 5 July at Battersea Park Millennium Arena. The children had been practicing the different running, jumping and throwing activities throughout the term and were ready to show off their skills.
Preschool to Year Three had a great time running over the agility course, throwing a Nerf Ball and showed finesse when running with an egg and spoon.
Years Four to Eight, powered through their long distance running which showed some great finishes. The pupils demonstrated very good techniques in the throwing events, especially the discus. Whilst the long jump and high jump really showed the pupils' competitive side.
The day finished off with a House relay which gave the audience a classic nail biting finish with Franklin just crossing the line first.
There could only be one house that would win overall on the day and this year that was Scott.
Well done to all those that participated and for all your efforts during the term. Thank you also to the number of parents that supported from outside the arena.
