Music Department News

Posted: 28th March 2022

The Music department has presented three concerts this term. Mr Rickman’s Guitar pupils, Nico, Saif, Edward and Jacob, enjoyed showcasing their progress to an appreciative audience. Our second concert was presented on Thursday 10 March. Ms Glover’s piano pupils performed a variety of pieces to a high standard and in different styles. Well done to Daniel, Alexandra, Esther-Marie, Sophie, Riyadh, Ava and Olivia. At our final instrumental concert this term Mr Pamskstys’ pupils and Mr Randall’s piano pupils performed with confidence and a high standard of musicality. There were 14 performances from the following pupils; Sofia, Rogeen, Daniel N, Willow-Grace, Sienna, Paolo, Sulaiman, Luca, Anaya, Maud, Emmeline, Yassin, Seb and Duorer. Every year group and child sang a Spring themed song at the Easter Assembly and we were delighted that Year Six to Eight presented their Samba inspired percussion piece. We look forward to more wonderful concerts next term and to our production of The Jungle Book, a joint collaboration with the drama department.
