The Hampshire School Chelsea v. Hill House School - Tuesday 16 November
Today’s mixed football matches against Hill House were fiercely fought and all the pupils really enjoyed being in competitive games again. Hill House welcomed us to Barn Elms where each school fielded three teams.

Team 1 started strongly and were 3 - 0 up at half time with Ilya scoring an impressive hatrick in the first half. In the second half, Hill House fought back to score two goals against our resilient defence and it was looking like a close match. Derin was a brilliant goal keeper saving some good attacking strikes from Hill House. Riyadh then made a dash in the second half to score a great goal with Ilya, yet again, showing his attacking flair to finish the game with a 5 - 2 win. Nico made some daring tackles and Eve made some impressive interceptions. Sebastian and Yassin made a great duo in midfield all making this a great team effort. Well done!

Final Score: 5 - 2 Ilya was player of the match

Team 2
Team 3 played a nail biting match against Hill House and at this debut match looked like the stronger team in the first half. Humood made some great saves in goal and in attack, Sophie and Salem were a force to be reckoned with, converting a pass into a goal by Salem. Meera and Emmeline were stoical in defence, making some bold tackles and keeping Hill House at bay. In the second half, Hill House rallied to score three goals to end 3 - 1 up and despite some late runs by Victoria and Jayden in midfield and some great on target strikes the team could not convert them into goals - nonetheless a good game!

Final Score: 1 - 3 Players of the match Sophie and Salem

The Hampshire School Chelsea v. Hill House School  - Wednesday 17 November
The boys played football today against Hill House and the girls played netball at Duke of York Square.

Girls’ Netball at Duke of York Square:
This was a fiercely contested match and a really enjoyable fixture. Hill House were a very sporting team and the camaraderie was really encouraging between the schools.

In the first quarter, The Hampshire school Chelsea went 1 - 0 up with a great goal from Derin. It was a fairly even match with the second quarter seeing Hill House score 2 goals to go ahead. Olivia, Eve and Ava in the centre third fought hard to win possession and at half time we are drawing 2 - 2 with Esther-Marie scoring the equaliser.

Sophia showed true grit in goal attack and her determination was impressive. Andrew proved a solid keeper and in the last quarter he showed his ability to play goal defence with improved footwork. Amalia and Laura were solid in defence and the final score was a nail biting 3 - 3 draw. It was such an enjoyable match both schools agreed to a rematch next Wednesday!

Well done to an ever improving team!

Result: 3 - 3 Player of the match: Eve with special mentions for Sophia and Andrew.

The Hampshire School Chelsea v. Knightsbridge School - Thursday 18 November
A very excited Year Three and Four fielded two mixed teams against an equally upbeat Knightbridge side! Both sides played with gusto and enthusiasm and the screams and cheers really highlighted the determined approach of all on the pitch.

Team 1 managed to score a 3 - 0 win over Knightsbridge, although this was a friendly coaching game. Team 2 did equally well scoring 6 goals and conceding none! Thoroughly enjoyable fixture and we look forward to the next one!

Sulaiman and Timur were players of the match.
