Science in Year Two

Posted: 28th March 2022

Year Two had a very exciting visit to the science lab to carry out their science experiment. Pupils have been learning about plants and created their own experiment to investigate what a plant needs to grow. Changing the conditions of growth for various cress plants allowed the hypothesis to be proven as to what plants need to grow. Some plants were allowed sunlight and/or water, some plants were allowed neither. As Year Two borrowed the science lab, we left it as we found it – a very responsible Year Two! Pupils have started to see their findings of the cress experiment and our sunflowers are beginning to grow. Year Two are recording their results.
