In support of Anti-Bullying Week in November, pupils across the school participated in Odd Sock Day in a bid to celebrate what makes each of us unique.
The pupils had a wonderful time showing off all of their different socks and learnt about 'One Kind Word' - the theme of this year's anti-bullying week. A bully, as defined by Fedor is, “someone who is unkind to other people lots of times, repeatedly.”
Year Two reflected upon their learning in PSHEE lessons, linking anti-bullying week with their knowledge of physical and non-physical characteristics.
“Everybody can be different, a non-physical characteristic is that someone may like books, whereas someone else may not.” said Edward
Mariam reflected on physical characteristics, “Not everyone is the same, people have different hair or eyes or may wear glasses.”
