Revolting Romans in Year 4

Revolting Romans in Year 4

This term Year 4 have been delving into the gory and exciting historical period of the Roman invasion of Britain. They used our text, ‘Revolt Against the Romans’ as inspiration to write their own historical novel, which they typed, edited, illustrated and published. They then completed their own ‘book tour’ reading their gruesome and thrilling work to other children. I am incredibly proud of Year 4 as they all challenged themselves to write at length, and showed off their creativity and resilience to complete these epic adventures. If you need a new book to read that is adventurous, gripping and a little bloody ask Year 4 for one of theirs!
