National History Museum Trip

Posted: 28th March 2022

On Friday 4 March, Year Two visited the National History Museum. Pupils have been learning about mapping in Geography and the location and names of the oceans.  An oceans workshop offered the opportunity to investigate what is in the sea, including habitats of animals and food chains which reinforced and confirmed their science knowledge. Pupils were able to link their understanding to the food chains within oceans. They also developed their knowledge of how to preserve the oceans and reduce the impact of plastics waste. Luckily, at the Hampshire School Chelsea, we have recycling bins in classrooms to help us put waste in the correct places.
