Responsibilities include:
- Central policies, particularly those relating to safeguarding and health and safety;
- Monitoring standards;
- Oversight of the performance of each school and its staff; and appointment of the Head and any Deputies;
- Advising the proprietor on all matters, including investment in the schools; oversight of school improvement plans and their implementation;
- Oversight of the well-being of staff employed in the schools.
