Reception

In reception, class teacher facilitates the differentiated learning for the core subjects so that all can achieve their full potential within a safe and inspiring environment.

Our five school Core Values of Community, Resilience, Excellence, Responsibility and Respect enhance academic and pastoral care and enable the pupils to take ownership of their learning. Specialist teachers for PE, sport, dancing, art, music, drama, French and ICT enhance the pupil’s daily learning. Many lessons at Pre-Prep level include hands-on and enquiry-based learning. Pupils are encouraged and praised as they master new and more complex concepts.

Moving to Pre-Prep Level

To ensure a smooth step into Pre-Prep, we continue structured transition activities, giving your child the opportunity to be prepared for Pre-Prep both emotionally and academically. Continuity in Early Years is maintained through regular moderation and transitional activities.
