Creative Writing

Information:  Chelsea Young Writers is a company which employs 12 established children’s story writers.  They have published thousands of books for children.  The session will be delivered by these popular authors.  The children who join the club will be taught how to write and will be guided to write their own range of stories.  Mr Stef will help to run the club, which will be promoted by Chelsea Young Writers to other schools, allowing our Hampshire children to interact and write with children from schools in our community.

Information; As well as being an Olympic sport, archery is great fun!

It has many transferable life skills which include: self-discipline, mental arithmetic, staying calm under pressure, cooperation and working individually as well as part of a team. Archery Club provides a safe, fun environment to allow participants to learn. We will cover basic shooting technique, scoring, and small group coaching, building on skills each week. Archery is an inclusive sport, all levels welcome.

Information: Are you a persuasive person? Interested in Current Affairs? Want to be heard? Adding a new dimension to our public speaking skills…the art of discussion and debate will allow your child to grow in confidence and articulate themselves in a clear manner. Children will explore a variety of topics including current affairs. Children will be taught how to use persuasive skills and work in a team to put together a persuasive speech to share in assembly, so as to incorporate their public speaking skills.
