The Hampshire School fees per term for the 2017 to 2018 Academic Year are:

Registration Fee (per child)

£200.00 Non-Refundable.

Place Confirmation Deposit

We request a confirmation deposit to secure an offered place. The deposit is not refundable if a child does not take up the place.

The deposit goes into the school's general funds until it is refunded, without interest, after the child's final term. The child must attend the school for at least three terms for a refund.

The deposit is not refunded if the child attends for less than three terms.

Full Term Tuition fees


Compulsory Extra

Pupil’s Personal Accident Insurance (worldwide cover over 365 days of the year) and Pupil Travel Insurance (all UK and European school trips) £8.50 per term.

Fees for music lessons

We arrange individual music lessons for children on request. Children receive a 30-minute lesson for 30 weeks of the academic year.

The lessons are usually held during the normal school day when children are extracted from timetabled periods.

Lessons are arranged in:

  • Drum - for children over the age of five

  • Cello - for children over the age of seven

  • Flute - for children over the age of seven

  • Guitar - for children over the age of five  (classical or electric)

  • Piano - for children of any age who have a traditional piano or keyboard

  • Recorder - for children of any age who have a descant recorder

  • Singing - for children over the age of seven

  • Violin - for children of any age who have an appropriate violin for their size

The cost per term is:

  • One Lesson -  £325.00. Based on thirty week teaching year, 10 lessons per term.

  • Two Lessons - £515.00. Based on thirty week teaching year, 10 lessons per term.

Some shared lessons may be available.

The price includes the cost of music, manuscript books and extra coaching for music exams, concerts and scholarship entrance where applicable.

Minibus Service

If you would like your child to travel to or from school on the school bus, please complete and return the reply slip in your welcome pack..  

Our buses cover Westminster, Chelsea, Fulham, Kensington, Notting Hill, Maida Vale, Bayswater, Paddington, Battersea, Clapham, and the Park Lane area of Mayfair.  

The cost is £560 for one journey per day and £820 for two journeys per day through the term.

There is a shuttle service between 9 Queensborough Terrace W2, 63 Ennismore Gardens SW7.

The cost  is:

  • £160.00 (return) from Queensborough Terrace to Wetherby Place or Manresa Road

  • £115.00 (return) from Ennismore Gardens to Wetherby Place or Manresa Road

  • £80.00 (return) for the daily shuttle between Wetherby Place and Manresa Road, per term.

Early Bird Club

Early Bird Clubs run in both buildings from 8am until the school day starts. The cost is £3.20 per child per morning.  

Children are supervised by a school assistant. Learning based activities are organised. The time can also be used for prep. Pre-booking is not required. Parents are invoiced for this service.

Stay and Play

Stay and Play is held in the main school building until 6pm. All Hampshire School children may attend.

We provide an after school snack and drink. Children have a supervised 45 minute homework period with recreational activities. The cost is £7.60 per hour.

A registration book is taken each day. Parents/guardians are required to sign a child out on collection. We levy a late collection fee of £30 per half hour for children collected after 6pm.

Children are booked into the programme on a termly, weekly or occasional basis.

To book a regular slot, please complete the request form in your welcome pack. For attendance on an occasional basis, please call the school.

Notice to leave The Hampshire School

Parents and guardians must give a full term's notice to withdraw a pupil from the school, or from individual music lessons or the minibus service.

This notice must be received in writing before the first day of the final term. If we don't receive notice, a full term's fees will be payable in lieu.

Parents must ensure we receive this notice and that they get written acknowledgement.
